The reinforced aluminum two-sided mechanism for pivoting outdoor blinds, “Wood Brothers Two-Sided Brown” 1 m (installation size 950 mm), can be connected together to create any required length or height. It consists of right and left guide sections and allows adjustment of the angle of the internal infill (shaped slats) of the finished structure. A key feature of this mechanism (two-sided blind mechanism) is its “2-in-1” functionality (two-sided blind system), offering two closing options for the shaped slats: Turning the mechanism fully in one direction creates a “herringbone” closure pattern with slight ventilation. Turning it fully in the opposite direction creates a “solid wall” closure effect, where the slats align in a single plane due to their design. Intermediate positions between these two modes allow visibility through the entire structure. Wood Brothers mechanisms for pivoting outdoor blinds (two-sided blind system) are made entirely of aluminum and assembled using special rivets that provide both strong joints and rotational movement of the mechanism’s elements. The mechanism is based on a 20×10×1.5 mm rectangular aluminum tube and 20×20×2 mm aluminum angles with a 20×2.0 mm strip, ensuring structural strength under all types of loads and reliable overall operation. (The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the design, appearance, комплектation, and specifications of the product without prior notice.) Wood Brothers mechanisms for pivoting outdoor blinds are powder-coated in accordance with thermal-chamber coating technology. All mechanism elements are painted separately and only then assembled into a complete structure. An important component that compensates for temperature fluctuations in summer and winter, enabling the mechanism to operate smoothly in both directions without metal-on-metal friction or jamming under intense sunlight, is a set of special plastic washers. To ensure proper operation of the structure and maintain the ability to fix the slats at any selected angle, installation must follow the principle of coaxial alignment between the slats and the mechanism shelves to which they are attached. Wood Brothers pivoting outdoor blind mechanisms (two-sided blind system) can function either as standalone mechanisms or as part of a larger combined system. All mechanisms can be joined into a single structure of the required length or height using special connectors (not included in the set). This ensures cost-effective transportation and preserves the geometry of the mechanisms, which can be difficult or even impossible with one-piece mechanisms of large sizes such as 2.5–3.5 meters. If desired, an automatic drive with remote control operation can also be installed (not included in the set). Wood Brothers pivoting outdoor blind mechanisms (two-sided blind system) are used both outdoors—for wall openings in gazebos, pergolas, terraces, and windows—and indoors for zoning and partitioning spaces. For outdoor use, installation is generally performed with the mechanisms positioned vertically and the slats horizontally (“horizontal operation type”). This arrangement allows year-round operation without concern for precipitation or winter conditions, since the mechanisms are protected from freezing or icing that may occur when the mechanisms are mounted at the top and bottom of the opening with vertically positioned slats (“vertical operation type”). The second installation option is widely used indoors in residential spaces, offices, windows, technical rooms, and garages. The internal infill (shaped slats) of the structure should be made exclusively from kiln-dried wood properly treated with protective agents, using a special profiled cross-section with beveled plank-style edges (or with grooves), in dimensions of 108 mm width and 19–20 mm thickness. Other suitable materials include wood, thermally treated wood, aluminum, sheet metal, polycarbonate, plastic, and more. The recommended maximum length of the internal infill (shaped slats) is: up to 1.5 m for horizontal slat positioning; up to 2.0 m for vertical slat positioning; This limitation helps prevent deformation of the slats due to their own weight and environmental influences. The internal infill (shaped slats) is not included in the delivery set. The set includes the right and left mechanism sections, as well as fasteners for mounting the slats.
